I'm awake this late only because I deiedcd it wasn't worth the risk that I might start up with that last nightmare, so Oscars . . . I saw The Fighter and liked it, but it's probably not Oscar-worthy. I'm sure I didn't see any of the others because we only watch movies on Netflix unless Mrs. Cowboy and I are going out on a date: dinner and a movie which is rare because it's so expensive.Remind me, though, did Inglorious Basterds receive Oscar nods (was it last year)? I watched that this weekend at home and thought it was OK but that it wasn't really about the Basterds much more about Shosanna the French cinema owner.(That's me, commenting a year later about a movie that may or may not have been in contention! Well, it's better right now than being asleep. Trust me.)
